Developing Your Case Study


The process begins with B2B technology marketing expert Kim Cornwall Malseed talking with you and your client via phone in carefully tailored information-gathering interviews. A first draft of the case study is ready within 5 business days after information gathering is complete, with final draft typically delivered within 10 business days.

In most cases, your case study will be one or two pages in length and have these four elements:

Overview 
The overview highlights a scenario and the players in it, including individuals or organizations experiencing an issue your solution addresses. It may mention business issues, technical issues, or both. 

Challenge
The challenge defines the problem and may give parameters like time and budget. It may include statements from managers or employees about perceived solution options.

Solution
The solution analyzes or solves the challenge. The solution section explains what was done at a level of detail that matches the target audience’s needs. It may also describe the various reasons why the client selected your company's product or service. The solution section may include graphics, charts, or screenshots to illustrate.
